He taught computer courses at the Ateneo de Manila University from 1990 - 1996. He has developed
and implemented various computerized information systems to facilitate
financial planning and control. A Certified MS Office Specialist., he is proficient in computer network systems and
internet; security and anti-virus
programs; and productivity packages.
- He
formerly served with the Government as a State Auditor II in the
Commission on Audit and headed various audit teams that uncovered
anomalies involving millions of government funds. In 1988, he headed
the UN Audit team sent to New York City, USA to audit the UN
Headquarters computer operations. He was a member of the UN Audit teams
sent to the UN University in Tokyo, Japan in 1985 and to the UN
Economic & Social Commission on Western Asia, Baghdad, Iraq in 1986.
While
studing at the Manuel L. Quezon University, he worked at the
Department of Labor & Employment starting as a Clerk and rose from
the ranks to become Supvg. Information Officer. He
is happily married to Lucy Clemente of Hagonoy, Bulacan. His only
daughter, Shiela Ann, is serving at the Philippine Overseas Employment
Administration.
